OSSU Grant & Trillium Primary Health Care Research Day Poster

Dr. Michelle Marcinow and Patricia Pottie at 2018 Trillium Primary Health Care Research Day

We received a small grant from the Ontario Patient-Oriented Research Capacity Building fund to conduct narrative video interviews with patients, caregivers, and researchers to share their experiences as partners in research initiatives. Using these interviews, we will create online resources featuring the stories of those we interview, which will be made widely available on our site. We are working with an advisory group that includes other scientists, educators, as well as patients and caregivers to help guide the development of a product that complements existing training resources. In June 2018, Dr. Michelle Marcinow (research associate) and Patricia Pottie (patient partner) presented the approach for this work at the Trillium Primary Health Care Research Day.
